Our Team
Embarking on her teaching career within a school setting, Principal Sia quickly recognised the diverse learning needs and paces among students. Motivated by this insight, she founded MWNS in 2003, aiming to offer personalised lessons tailored to individual learning styles and speeds.
Drawing from her classroom experience, Bachelor of Education Degree, and dedication to student empowerment, Principal Sia has cultivated a nurturing environment where students feel encouraged to inquire, learn from mistakes, explore, and ultimately, reach their full potential.
We define a qualified teacher as someone who has undergone training accredited by the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF), such as obtaining a degree or diploma. The majority of our teachers are either fully qualified or pursuing qualifications through University or TAFE. While a small number may not hold formal qualifications, they have demonstrated expertise in tutoring and have met Principal Sia’s rigorous standards prior to employment.
Most in-person communication relating your child’s tuition can be discuss with their tutor in the waiting room before or after their scheduled lesson. All our tutors are more than happy to have a quick conversation relating to your child’s progress and learning goals.
If you have any administration queries, would like assistance outside of your child’s tutoring hour, or to pass on any documents or information to your child’s tutor (such as a school report or learning plan from a specialist), we recommend emailing or calling your Centre Manager to assist.
Administration
