Course Information
Unlock your child’s potential with Present Like A Pro, a dynamic public speaking course designed to help students in Year 7 – Year 12 develop self-assurance, clarity, and effective communication skills.
Content:
Why does public speaking matter? Students will explore the impact of strong communication skills in academic, social, and professional settings while identifying their own speaking style.
Understanding your audience is key to effective speaking. This session covers audience engagement techniques, adapting tone and content, and building a connection through storytelling.
A great speech follows a clear structure. Students will learn how to craft a strong opening, develop key arguments, and leave a lasting impression with a powerful conclusion.
Confidence isn’t just about words—it’s also about how you deliver them. This session focuses on voice projection, tone, body language, and eye contact to create an engaging presence.
Great speakers use visuals to enhance their message, not distract from it. Students will learn how to create engaging PowerPoint slides, use images and key points effectively, and integrate visual aids seamlessly into their presentations.
Students will put their skills to the test by delivering short speeches. They’ll receive constructive feedback from peers and instructors to refine their technique.
Nervousness is normal—but it can be managed! This session teaches strategies to overcome stage fright, control anxiety, and build confidence through practice.
How do great speakers inspire and persuade? Students will learn to use rhetorical devices, storytelling, and logical reasoning to make their speeches more impactful.
The course culminates in final presentations where students apply everything they’ve learned. Reflection and goal-setting will help them continue their public speaking journey.

No, all students (new and currently enrolled) are welcome to attend our Holiday Courses.
In saying this, if you are interested in weekly tuition, feel free to Contact Us and we can discuss enrolment options.
Absolutely! Students will be able to take home all material at the end of the course. Students are encouraged to refer to the material at a later date if they need a reminder.
Our Holiday Course classes typically range from 4-10 students per centre.
Your child is more than welcome to attend the course online.
Simply call or email our Admin team letting them know that your child is unwell and we can discuss collection of the material from our centres and links for the online lesson.
MWNS Students are currently enrolled in the timetable and attend weekly lessons at MWNS.
New Students are not currently enrolled in the timetable.
