Our Selective High School Test preparation courses are designed to strengthen students’ abilities in four key testing areas – Reading, Mathematical Reasoning, Thinking Skills, and Writing.

What is the Selective High School Test?
Selective High Schools are designed for academically gifted students who would benefit from learning in an environment tailored to brighter students. Students sit the Test in Year 6 for placement in Year 7.
Unlike other tests, the Selective High School Test is not mandatory and it is encouraged that only students who are excelling at school apply.
There are 4,248 places available in selective high schools across NSW for entry to Year 7.
