Weekly HSC Tutoring

Lesson Structures

Individual Lessons

For students who may be slightly behind in their work, preparing for an upcoming exam or unable to focus within a group environment, we recommend an Individual Lesson.

Micro Groups (max. 3 students)

All students are taught independently as the teacher swiftly rotates between them. During these personalised lessons, schoolwork and gaps in their knowledge will be focused on.

Building Confident Learners to ace their HSC!

All our senior lessons are focused on performing in the final HSC exams and, of course, beyond.

This is achieved through helping students understand and excel in their current school work, teaching exam tips and strategies, exposing students to past exam questions and ensuring each lesson is relevant and beneficial to their end goal – performing their best in the HSC examinations.

We recommend attending a weekly tutoring lesson session as well as attending our Intensive HSC Preparation Courses.

Year 11 & HSC Maths Revision Courses

Revise an entire year of Maths in just 5 days!

These courses are the ideal way to revise and consolidate all key concepts taught during the school year.

Taught by experienced tutors during the Term 2 break, these courses provide students with detailed notes on each topic, worked solutions and practice questions to ensure our students enter their exam with confidence.

HSC Mathematics Study Sessions

Practice makes perfect!

These intensive study sessions prepare our students for the HSC by allowing them to work through HSC questions with an experienced tutor.

All students are encouraged to complete past exam papers prior to attending these sessions and focusing on the questions they find the most challenging during the sessions.

Our real-time data allows you to track your child’s progress after each lesson.

Our detailed evaluations include content taught and your child’s understanding, their behaviour during the lesson & allocated homework. We also document all your child’s progress against the Australian Curriculum.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I reschedule a lesson?

Parents and/or students may reschedule lessons up until the day before the scheduled session. We require 24 hours notice or a doctor’s certificate to reschedule a lesson. If a lesson is not rescheduled within the current term, this lesson will be forfeited. No credits or refunds will be issued for absences.

What happens if my child is sick and can’t make their lesson?

If your child is slightly unwell, they are more than welcome to stay home and join their lesson online. If they are feeling quite unwell and you are able to provide us with a doctor’s certificate, we would be more than happy to reschedule their lesson to another day throughout the current term.

How can I pay for lessons?

We accept Cash, Credit Card, Bank Transfers or Automatic Payment Schedule through Ezidebit. All Ongoing Enrolments need to set up an Automatic Payment Schedule which will be processed either Fortnightly or for each Term.

Are there classes on Public Holidays?

No. Our Centres are closed on Public Holidays and no fees are charged for these days. Public Holidays which we celebrate during the year are: Australia Day, Good Friday, Holy Saturday, Easter Sunday, Easter Monday, Anzac Day, Queen’s Birthday & Labour Day.

Are there classes on Pupil Free Days?

Yes. Lessons are conducted on Pupil Free Days as they vary for different schools.

What if I choose to withdraw?

If your child no longer requires tuition, and you wish to withdraw them, we will require 14 days’ notice. Your child is welcome to attend their scheduled lessons during the notice period. All withdrawals must be provided via email (admin@mwns.com.au). If you have withdrawn your child, a credit for the balance of the term’s fees will be applied to your account. We do not offer refunds.
