Our high school tutors specialise in Maths and English tutoring from Year 7 through Year 12, focusing on strengthening students' foundational knowledge and advancing their skills. Our tutors align lessons with the current curriculum to ensure relevance in school assessments and exams. We offer Individual Lessons & Micro Groups (maximum 3 students).

Likewise, we encourage parents to provide information from school teachers or results (reports/exams) to guide our high school tutors in Sydney.

For students who may be slightly behind in their work, preparing for an upcoming exam or unable to focus within a group environment, we recommend an Individual Lesson.
Our one-on-one high school tutoring sessions offer a focused, customised learning experience, addressing specific challenges and enhancing students' strengths.
Micro Groups
Maximum of 3 students — all students are taught independently as the teacher swiftly rotates between them. During these personalised lessons, schoolwork and gaps in their knowledge will be focused on.
Learning in small groups encourages student collaboration, enhancing the educational experience through peer learning.

Frequently Asked Questions
Our definition of a qualified teacher is a person who has completed training recognised by the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF), such as a degree or diploma.

Almost all of our teachers are either qualified or working towards their qualification at University or TAFE. A handful of our teachers are not qualified on that basis, however, they are experienced in tutoring and have passed Sia’s high standards before being employed.
If your child is slightly unwell, they are more than welcome to stay home and join their lesson online. If they are feeling quite unwell and you are able to provide us with a doctor’s certificate, we would be more than happy to reschedule their lesson to another day throughout the current term.Â

Yes, along with test preparation, we offer comprehensive assistance with homework and assignments to ensure a well-rounded support system for students. We aim to help students not only excel in exams but also understand and complete their schoolwork effectively, reinforcing their learning and application skills.
The Student Portal (stage.mwns.com.au) allows students to join their online lessons, upload schoolwork/homework they would like to work on at tutoring as well as viewing document uploads from their tutor.
No. Our Centres are closed on Public Holidays and no fees are charged for these days. Public Holidays which we celebrate during the year are: Australia Day, Good Friday, Holy Saturday, Easter Sunday, Easter Monday, Anzac Day, Queen’s Birthday & Labour Day.
At MWNS, we offer one-on-one tutoring and small group sessions, known as micro-groups. The maximum number of students per group session is 3 to ensure personalised attention and an optimal learning environment.
Our high school tutors at MWNS are highly qualified and experienced professionals. They typically hold a Bachelor’s degree in their subject area, with many possessing advanced degrees or teaching certifications.
