Our Lessons

At MWNS, our team of over 80 teachers enables us to accommodate students of all levels and abilities.

Students enrol at MWNS for various reasons; some aim to catch up on missed concepts, while others strive to maintain or excel their grades.

Additionally, we offer resources and support for students with learning difficulties such as ADHD, Dyslexia, Dysgraphia, Dyscalculia, and ADD.

Our centres and online platform host over 15,000 resources to engage students of all levels and abilities.
Specific to year 3 English, we have a number of novels and age appropriate texts to assess reading and comprehension. We have educational games and learning resources for more visual and tactile learners. All students are issued with an English workbook which contains a range of questions and exercises. Our tutors also enjoy peer collaboration exercises in our Micro Groups for a more interactive lesson.

English tutors at MWNS personalise their lessons by evaluating your child’s current level by identifying strengths and areas for improvement. This may involve initial assessments or discussions with you and your child to best understand their individual learning goals and preferences.

With this information in mind, tutors develop tailored lesson plans to cater to your child’s specific needs. They adjust teaching methods to accommodate various learning styles, pacing, and preferred modes of instruction.

MWNS Year 3 English tutors can assist students in preparing for exams like NAPLAN by providing targeted instruction and practice in key areas assessed in the exam. This includes comprehension strategies, writing techniques, grammar and punctuation rules, and vocabulary building exercises.

Our tutors also familiarise students with the format and structure of the exam, offering practice tests and strategies for managing time effectively during the test. Additionally, they can provide individualised support to address specific areas of weakness and help build confidence leading up to the exam.
