Assessments
The assessment offers you an immediate insight into your child’s progress at their current year level. Should you choose to start tuition at MWNS, it also helps us pinpoint any areas of weakness to focus on.
The assessment typically lasts around 50 minutes, though individual student timing may vary, so please plan for up to an hour. Feel free to relax in our waiting area during your child’s assessment, or take some time for yourself at one of the nearby cafes.
Every assessment comprehensively covers the topics expected by the Department of Education for students at that year level. With specific metrics in place, we can gain a detailed overview of your child’s abilities based on their results.
Feel free to call us on (02 9697 9999) or email our Admin (admin@mwns.com.au) to let us know if your child can’t complete the assessment. We’ll be happy to reschedule it for another day. Wishing your little one a speedy recovery!
Absolutely! Once your child completes the assessment, our Curriculum Coordinator meticulously marks it, analyses the results by topic areas and writes a summary report of their performance. You can expect to receive the detailed report via email within a week of your child completing the assessment.
